• The history of Stratacon began in 1997.

 

  • In 1999, Stratacon installed Bulk Interval Meters in over 150 multi-family buildings.

 

  • Stratacon installed the first Smart Submetering System in a 110 suite rental property in January 2001.

 

  • Between 2001 and 2004, Stratacon installed thousands of Smart Submeters in multi-family properties across Ontario.

 

  • In April 2004, Stratacon exclusively partnered with ista, the world's largest submetering company, to provide advanced billing and reporting to its customers.

 

  • Stratacon's Meter Lab receives accreditation from Measurement Canada for sealing meters.

 

  • In June 2006, Stratacon opened a second Canadian office in Calgary.

 

  • In early 2007, Stratacon launched a heat submetering program for 3000 suites with a large Western Canada landlord.

 

  • February 2007 marked Stratacon's 10th year anniversary.

 

  • In the fall of 2007 Stratacon receives a Certificate of Recognition from the Ontario Power Authority for its submetering of Park Properties' portfoli

 

  • August 2008, Stratacon becomes a wholly owned affiliate of the Consumers’ Waterheater Operating Trust.
